Connecting Country Schools

Our school has been included in the Connecting Country Schools (CCS) project, which is delivering upgraded wireless connectivity and internet access to more than 900 schools around the state. Planning for installations at our school has commenced with our assigned Technical Officer from the Department's IT Directorate, who are managing this project. Bowral High Keeps Moss Vale In Check

NSW Junior Chess League - Round 1 BHS chess team in action Bowral HS again met local rivals Moss Vale HS for our usual round 1 pairing for the statewide chess knockout competition. In the corresponding fixture last year, Bowral was triumphant at home and were looking forward to the challenge of replicating the feat for the away leg this year. Starting from Term 2, 2018 the school will have a new uniform supplier. For the past 30 years Mimosa have been our partners and have done an excellent job in supplying our uniforms and meeting the needs of Bowral High students and their families. Back to School 9am - 3.20pm

All Year 7 and Year 12 students enrolled at Bowral High School for 2018 begin their new school year on Tuesday 30th January with a full day of activities. Year 12 will start with an Assembly in the quad at 9am whilst Year 7 will meet in the Hall. Those students in Years 8, 9,10 and 11 are required at school on Wednesday 31st January. After a morning assembly, timetables will be issued to year groups and lessons will commence. Year 7 and 12 already have their timetables and will be dismissed to go straight to their first lesson. Vice Captain, Ema Kobayakawa, attended the 2018 Australia Day Lunch at Sydney's International Convention Center on January 19th. Ema said "I had an amazing experience listening to different speakers, and meeting other student participants. Carnival Students

Swimming Carnival 2018 - this week!

The Bowral High School swimming carnival will be held on Friday 2nd February at Bowral pool. This is a compulsory school day and all students are expected to attend. The cost will be $2.40 unless a current pool pass is shown to the pool staff on the gate. Students who travel to school by bus will be dropped off at the pool in the morning and will be returned to the school in the afternoon to catch their usual school bus home.
